When I first met with Katie, I just knew we were going to be a great fit and their engagement session proved me right!
It poured the day of our first meeting, and for those of you that don’t know the Woodfield area, especially The Streets of Woodfield, parking is, well, hard to find. Poor Katie had to park pretty far away from the Starbucks we were meeting at and (I’m sure) ran as fast as she could to get inside. Drenched as she walked in the door, she still had the biggest smile on her face. You see, SHE was really excited about finding her perfect photographer. And well, that made ME excited to chat with her and show her our work and hopefully fill that spot.
NOTHING makes me more excited than B+G’s who are excited!!! 🙂
We headed to Klein Creek Farm in West Chicago on a gorgeous fall day for their session. Unfortunately the woman on the phone had told us the incorrect days that the farm was closed, and go figure, that day was one of them. Luckily the farm still had some good areas out front that were not gated off.
I felt HORRIBLE when they arrived and we had to tell them it was closed. They were SUCH good sports about it and were down for anything we suggested! We did end up heading to Cantigny Park for the tail end of the session to get a few more, less country looking shots.
