This journey started about 3 years ago when I graduated from college. I needed a job, and even then the economy sucked. I took a job in the Copy+Print Center at Staples hoping to somehow use my graphic design knowledge. Fail.
2 years later, after successfully starting my invitation designing business Just Invite Me, I left. What a huge sigh of relief, as my time there is not really worth talking about here. More importantly, when I left, I had picked up a handful of amazing friends.
Lucy + Joey happened to be two of them.
I was still in planning mode when they got engaged, and me and Lucy spent countless hours behind the (dead) copy center counters gushing about our latest wedding finds. Somewhere in the middle of this timeframe, I began shooting photography with Brooke Bustillos (who has made me into everything I am today in the world of photography). Lucy looked high and low but could not find someone who “clicked”. She was of course ecstatic when I offered to fill the position.
L+J’s wedding day was amazing, and as nervous as I was shooting a good friends wedding, it could not have gone smoother. Not to mention, getting to catch up with some of the Staples crew at the end of the night. =)
Lucy and Joey…we wish you nothing but the absolute best!!
LUCY!! I <3 YOU TO DEATH GIRL! =)
