Finding the words to start each wedding post is always ones of the hardest parts of the job.
One of the things we enjoy most is how well we get to know our clients before their big day. It makes the day run smoothly and really, we get to actually feel like we are a part of it, and not just another vendor to work it.
Samone + James’ wedding was nothing short of amazing. I knew the moment we met with them last year that the process of working with them would be fabulous and that we would leave knowing it wouldn’t be the end of our relationship.
If you missed it, HERE is their awesome Arcada Theatre engagement sesh that we shot earlier this year!
Pay attention to this vendor list because everyone was UH-MAZINGGGGGG.

Without further ado, here is S+J’s PERFECT wedding day! <3
AYKM with these shoes?!?!?!?! AND they’re PINK? GUHHHH.
Fun fact #1 : Samone got to go to THE Kleinfield’s in New York City to search for her AMAZING Pnina gown.
Fun Fact #2 : Samone actually got to meet Pnina Tornai!!! um, JELLY.
THIS, is Rylee. S+J’s daughter. She might be THE cutest little girl in the entire world. <3
Hotel Baker was a ridiculously AMAZING backdrop for this wedding.
Samone + James decided not to do a first look, but they did however want to get a shot before the ceremony. She found some ideas on Pinterest, and I have to say, I am IN LOVE with this idea for couples who’d rather keep the tradition.
Samone’s sister Cassadee is quite the artist. Check out the back of these AMAZING programs! She drew each member of the bridal party!!! AYKM with that talent?!?!
Samone’s uncle performed the ceremony and also sang as she walked down the aisle.
And from this point forward…things were….emotional. To say the very least. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t wipe a tear or two of my own behind my camera.
Directly after the ceremony, we got to hop on a little boat with the bride + groom to go take pictures. And the light?
Bella Novia Couture did an amazing job GLAMMING up the reception and Town + Country created THE largest centerpieces we have EVER seen!!! GORGEOUS!
And here, folks, is THE coolest thing I have EVER seen for an escort card idea.
As guests pulled off their cards, the photo was still showing behind it. So cool and oooooh soooo different!
First Dances are always sweet….but then. Oh yes. Flash Mob!!!!! <3
Annnd we ended the night with one last photo in the Rose Garden with string lit trees and crystals still hanging.
S+J, your wedding was seriously AMAZEBALLS. We wish you guys nothing but the best and we can’t wait for the future! 🙂
** UPDATE **
How could I forget this photo??? S+J we love you guys!!! <3
